I hope you all have had a wonderful week so far. My week has been splendid. It has been full of work and all that jazz. This is what I wore to work earlier this week. I’ve missed tying my turbans and headscarves terribly but my place of work does not allow it except on Fridays or on days like this day when school is out of session and we’re expected to come to work to prepare for the next school term.
I don’t think I mentioned it but I work in a school here in Lagos, Nigeria. The name of the school is SEED OF MESSIAH NURSERY, PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS. I love my work here so much. I work in the administrative department of the school. The cool thing about working here is that I once walked these halls as a student but now I’m back there as a member of staff to make an impact in the lives of children and I’m doubly grateful to God for that.
I took a few close up pictures of my turban to show the style in which it is tied. I tied two to make one big headpiece.
I wish you all a splendid weekend.

I hope you all had a slammin’ week. I’m sorry it took me a while to do another outfit post. I tried to do some outfit posts last week but I had a little challenge but it’s all good now.
Now, on to the good stuff. I just wanted to put up a quick outfit post of what I wore to work last week Wednesday.
I wanted to wear this beautiful, colourful dress to work and I had to style it in a work-appropriate manner, hence the boyfriend cardigan I paired with the outfit.
I was kinda apprehensive about wearing my cardigan because I live in a tropical area but it all worked out for the best because we had a rainy day and the weather was cool.
May I just express how much I love my earrings. I got them from my mom about a year and half ago and I rock them almost everyday. The earrings are in form of three flower petals. I just love the girly detail on them.

I hope you all are doing beautifully well. I owe everyone a huge apology for being away for months. I’m so sorry. I want to thank my followers who have stayed with me through this dry spell and have not unsubscribed and I also want to welcome my new followers. So these past few months have been a little hectic for me, what with coming home and starting a new job so that’s the major reason why I was off the radar for a while but I’m back with a bang.
So moving on to the ootd, this is what I wore to work on Monday and I decided to take some pictures at the end of my work day. I love my outfit mainly because of the femininity of my skirt. There is nothing that brings out the feminine side more than a beautiful midi length circle skirt and in a beautiful soft pink colour too! (That’s the stuff dreams are made of. Haha!). I decided to carry on with the whole girly theme throughout my outfit, hence the different shades of pink and purple. I also love my blouse and the simple, girly look it has to it. I felt like a princess throughout today. Isn’t it wonderful how an outfit can just make your day brighter?
Now, to my hair. As you would notice from my last post to this, I’ve cut my hair again and dyed it burgundy (it was supposed to be red but the black of my hair is way to intense for it to come out bright red but I still love it). I styled it with the eco-styler gel and a bun maker made of spongy material. Let me know if you want me to show you how I achieved the curls.
And I couldn’t resist taking some pictures of some funny all be it cute poses of me when I got back to my office, so enjoy.

Have a lovely week all you beautiful people.
I hope you all are having a beautiful weekend so far.
I have been looking for an overall dress like this for sometime ever since I fell in love with one I saw on Dorothy Perkins so when I saw this at Marshalls some time ago, I just knew I had to have it.
The overall dress really reminded of my days as a school girl in my uniform of a pinafore, the school blouse and a beret. I just had to recreate my school girl look but with an adult twist so I added a crop top, a knit hat and I put my burgundy tights to good use again. So let me know what you lovelies think about my outfit.
I decided to add my jacket from Forever 21 for warmth.
I don’t know how my friend is always able to capture me in my joie de vivre moments but she always manages to do so in every photo session that we have and I have to say that those pictures are always my personal favorites in the bunch.

It’s been cold the last few days here in Georgia, so I decided to layer up my jackets so as to withstand the chill. I also decided to wear a tank top under my crop top just to give me added warmth. My hair is in a scarf because you just do not want to know what it looks like underneath that scarf. I hope the weather has been treating you all fairly.
